How it works

You Submit Your Request Online:
Provide names, case number (if don't know we can look up for a fee), address where you want documents delivered and speed of service (standard or RUSH).We Go In-person to the Court to Request Your Doc:
Our local courier fills out paperwork and submits the Court clerk over-the-counter.Court Clerk Processes Request: Timing depends on ease of finding the file (is case number available) of retrieving the document (older cases are warehoused offsite) and how bus the court is.
We Return to Pick up Your Document
Our local courier retrieves the certified record in person and pays any court fees.We Ship Your Document:

* Note: We will do our very best to get your document(s) for you. If your information is incomplete or the Court rejects your request for any reason, we will contact you. Note that we do not grant refunds if we go to court and they are unable to process your request - because we provided our in-person service. After the first 2 trips to the courthouse, if we have to return to additional times due to complications with your order, we will need to request an additional fee of $100 per visit. This is unlikely to occur but we want to be transparent.
What happens next?
We will review your order & information for completeness to determine if it is ready to go to the SF Superior Court
If all is in order, then you can expect the following:
RUSH: If you selected RUSH and we have all the info we need, then our goal is that 2 business days after we receive your document we will ship it to you.
Standard: If you selected Standard, then we collect all requests received by Friday 5PM with the goal of bringing them to the court and shipping documents out by the next Friday. That means if we get your document by this Friday, we will attempt to mail your document by next Fri and you will receive it a couple days later.
If any information is missing or there are any issues, we will contact you using the email you provided. Please respond with any needed info to keep your oder in progress.
